My counseling (therapy) practice is based 100% online for your home comfort and convenience. I use a software called Doxy.me for our video or audio calls. Doxy is a safe and secure online tool/website that is HIPPA compliant, and ideal for our privacy. The concept of “telemedicine” has become increasingly more popular, and all of my clients really enjoy this simple tool. Once you have signed up for our 20 min free consultation I will be in contact with you to set a date and time. On the scheduled day you’ll use this link: Doxy.me

Ohio mental health counselors are licensed as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs or PCCs). This is the state’s highest counseling license. Professional Clinical Counselors evaluate and treat people who are dealing with mental health, emotional and substance abuse issues. Counselors are trained to treat wide range of issues, however often specialize in treating specific populations. Yearly training is required to maintain licensure.
First, you have to find the right therapist, so let’s schedule the first consultation so you can decide if I am a good fit for you. The first few sessions will be a getting to know one another, we will talk about what is bringing you in and then develop a plan for our work together. Then the good work starts. Sessions will include a combination of talking and intervention while we explore past and present issue that are effecting your life. You can expect to be encouraged, supported and challenged, all the things that will get you the changes that you need in your life.
It is so simple, open your Doxy.me site, you will wait in the virtual meeting room until I start the session. We will be face to face, but in the comfort of your own home. Get cozy, you are in your own safe space.
As outlined above, I do accept most insurance plans. Please first consult your plan and understand your explanation of benefits (EOB) as not all plans cover mental health services. Please see the list above of carriers I accept to get started.
